Neah Bay girls drop Sequim 57-38

(Neah Bay) -- The fourth-ranked 1B Neah Bay girls downed 2A Sequim 57-38 Wednesday night.
Kaela Tyler scored 27 points and Faye Chartraw added 20 for the Red Devils, now 5-0 overall.
Neah Bay led 11-7 after the first period and 24-20 at halftime, as the Wolves kept things close.
Kylee Williams led Sequim with 9 points, Adrienne Haggerty had 8, Vicky Cummins 7 and Elise Beuke added 6 for the Wolves, now 5-6 overall.
Neah Bay was ahead 39-32 after 3 periods, but closed the contest on an 18-6 run.
Sequim hosts Port Angeles Friday, when Neah Bay entertains Crescent.
