PREP BOYS BASKETBALL: Sequim 72, North Kitsap 55

(Poulsbo) -- Sequim's Corbin Webb scored 22 points as the Wolves downed winless North Kitsap 72-55 Friday night.
The Wolves held the Vikings without a field goal in the opening 8 minutes and Jayson Brocklesby scored 8 of his 12 points as Sequim led 14-4 after one quarter.
Sophomore Gabe Carter tallied on 10 of his 17 points in the second period as Sequim took a 36-18 advantage to intermission.
The Vikings' Kendall Gill had a hot hand in the second half, connecting on 4 of his 5 triples and was North's team-high scorer with 19.
Sequim's Webb managed 11 of his game-high 22 in the fourth quarter, mostly on drives into the paint.
Kenny Meier, Tim Guan and Nick Camporini chipped in 6 points apiece for the Wolves.
T.J. Reitan paced North Kitsap with 10 points, while Connor McCorkle and Sebastian Ford dropped in 7 apiece.
Sequim improved to 14-5 overall, in third place at 10-4 in Olympic League play.
The Wolves will have a bye on Tuesday night before traveling to Kingston next Friday.
