PREP BOYS BASKETBALL: Sequim 70, Klahowya 53

(Sequim) -- Jayson Brocklesby scored 19 points and Gabe Carter connected for 14 as the Sequim Wolves beat the Klahowya Eagles 70-53 Tuesday night at Rick Kaps Gym.
Nick Camporini and Corbin Webb paced the Wolves with 11 points apiece.
After a tight first quarter with Sequim leading 19-14, the Wolves singed the twine for five triples in the second period and led by 16 at intermission -- 39-23.
The Wolves increase their advantage to as many as 27 points in the second half and connected on 60 percent of their shots from beyond the arc for the contest.
Derris Davis led Klahowya with 18 points, Clark Rose had 14 and Mitchell Flowers added 12 markers.
Seniors Nick Camporini and Kenny Meier made their final regular season home court appearance at Rick Kaps Gym on Senior Night.
Sequim improved to 13-5 overall and moved into third place in Olympic League play at 9-4.
Klahowya fell to 4-11 overall and 3-9 in Olympic League action.
The Wolves travel to Poulsbo Friday to play winless North Kitsap and Klahowya will host Port Angeles.
Meantime, in girls action at Silverdale, Klahowya beat Sequim 52-39.
