PREP BASKETBALL: Sequim boys 64, Olympic 60

(Sequim) -- Nick Camporini scored 17 points and buried 4 triples, including the final lead-changing basket with 5:33 left as the Sequim Wolves to beat the Olympic Trojans 64-60 Thursday.
Sequim improved to 10-3 overall and 6-2 in Olympic League play, while Olympic High dropped to 5-6 overall and 4-4 in league.
The Wolves had a 20-8 bulge with a minute gone in the second period.
The Trojans rallied with a 13-4 run, tying the game at 21 with 3:49 left in the half on Daniel Sullivan's trey.
Sequim's Gabe Carter swished a buzzer-beating triple, sending the Wolves to the locker room with a 31-28 intermission lead.
Carter, who finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds, repeated the feat as his 3-ball beat the third quarter klaxon for a 43-41 Sequim advantage.
Olympic took the lead 47-46 with 6 minutes left on sophomore Quentin Phillips drive to the hoop.
Phillips finished as the game-high scorer with 25.
Jason Brocklesby, who scored 15 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, downed a trey with 4:40 left that put Sequim ahead 52-47.
The Wolves canned 10 of 14 fourth quarter free throws and the Trojans could only manage to close within 2 on three more occasions.
Qui Jan Otis paced Olympic with 10 and Chris Campbell had 9 points.
Corbin Webb scored 10 for the Wolves and Kenny Meier had 8.
Sequim will host a Tuesday night girls and boys doubleheader with Port Townsend at Rick Kaps Gym.
