(Sequim) -- Sequim's Corbin Webb scored 17 points, while Nick Camporini and Kenny Meier added 10 points apiece as the Wolves beat the North Mason Bulldogs 56-48 Friday night.
Sequim improved to 2-1 in Olympic League play and 4-1 overall.
Sequim led 16-11 at the first quarter break and increased it 22-11 in the opening minutes of the second period.
North Mason climbed back into the game with inside moves from Kris Bishop and outside shots from A.J. Barker and Garrett Burley.
The Bulldogs took the lead 27-26 on a Bishop hoop with a minute to go before intermission.
Sequim's Nick Camporini put the Wolves up by 4 with two triples -- the last beating the halftime klaxon -- at 32-28.
The Wolves extended their lead to 11 in the third period, but the Bulldogs managed to cut it back to four at the end of the third quarter -- 42-38.
The Bulldogs cut the Sequim advantage to two points on three occasions in the fourth quarter, but the Wolves managed to preserve their victory, hitting 5 of 7 free throws in the period.
It was Coach Greg Glasser's first-ever win against the Bulldogs, breaking a string of 8 consecutive losses in the rivalry with North Mason.
North Mason is now 1-2 in Olympic League action and 2-3 overall.
Meantime, the Sequim girls won their third straight game Friday, beating the North Mason Lady Bulldogs 51-41 at Belfair.
Sequim's boys will host Bremerton Monday at Rick Kaps Gym, while the girls will visit the Knights.
