(Sequim) -- Nick Camporini scored 25 points and Corbin Webb added 13 as the Sequim Wolves beat the Peninsula Seahawks 63-48 in non-league boys basketball action at Rick Kaps Gym Wednesday.

Webb had four early baskets as Sequim opened an 11-3 lead at the first quarter break.

The Wolves outscored Peninsula 22-13 in the second quarter, leading 33-16 at intermission.

The Seahawks (1-3) tried to ramp up the defensive pressure in the second half and hit 4 triples in the third quarter -- two by Charlie Menkens -- who finished as Peninsula's top scorer with 16 points.

The Seahawks closed it to ten at 40-30 with 2 minutes left in the third. 

However, Camporini nailed half of his 6 triples in same period as the 2A Wolves led the 3A Seahawks by 20 points going to the final quarter, 50-30.

Sequim (3-1) hosts North Mason in an Olympic League affair Friday night at Rick Kaps Gym.
