Sequim girls 65, Klahowya 31

(Silverdale) -- The Sequim Lady Wolves beat the Klahowya Eagles 65-31 Friday night.
Sequim roared out to a 20 point advantage after the first quarter -- 26-6 -- while enjoying a 38-16 lead at halftime.
Elise Beuke scored 16 points for Sequim and Jordan Miller added 11.
The Lady Wolves are tied for third place in the Olympic League girls hoops standings with the Olympic High Trojans, both with 9-4 marks, two games ahead of 5th place North Kitsap.
Sequim improved to 9-8 overall, while Klahowya dropped to 3-13 overall and 1-12 in league action.
Alexas Besand paced Sequim with 10 tallies.
Sequim hosts North Kitsap Tuesday night at Rick Kaps Gym.
