(Port Angeles) -- The Port Angeles girls are now 7-0 atop the Olympic League and 9-2 on the season following a 62-41 win over Sequim Friday in Port Angeles.
Port Angeles switched from a man to a 2-3 zone defense in the second half, got some steals and roared away from a 22-22 first half deadlock.
Krista Johnson, Maddie Hinrichs and Bailee Jones led the second half surge combining for 44 points.
Sequim kept the game close in the first half thanks to solid defense.
The Wolves fell to 5-6 overall and 5-2 in Olympic League play.
McKenzie Bentz led Sequim with 10, while Caitlin Stofferahn and Alexas Besand had 7 points apiece.
Sequim hosts Bremerton Monday, while the Riders travel to Port Townsend.
