(Fife) -- Travis Decker scored 5 touchdowns, including a 60-yard run on the first play from scrimmage, as the Sequim Wolves dominated the Fife Trojans 33-14.

Decker finished with 189 yards on 24 carries, despite a swamp-like field and torrential rains at Fife High School.

The Wolves (9-1, 7-0) finish the regular season as Nisqually Olympic League football champions.

Sequim will play the Burlington-Edison Tigers at North Kitsap High School's Viking Stadium in the opening round of the State 2A playoffs next Saturday night at 6.

Decker scored his second TD with 2:38 to go in the opening quarter on a 4-yard run, putting the visitors up 14-0.

Drew Rickerson's quarterback scramble of 21 yards to the Trojans 6-yard line was the key in a 10-play, 47-yard march.

Sequim's John Textor stopped the Trojans with an interception of Fife quarterback Devan Bennion at the Wolves 45.

Sequim's drive to a third score included a 27-yard Rickerson pass to Textor and a 17-yarder to Clancy Catelli.

Decker struck paydirt from the 12 on the first play of the second quarter, outrunning the Fife cornerback to the pylon on a sweep from the T-formation. Sequim 21, Fife 0.

Bennion was intercepted again, this time by Alex Gillis, giving Sequim possession at the Fife 47.

Decker scored on the seventh play from 3 yards as Sequim led 27-0 at halftime.

Opening the second half, Rickerson fumbled to Fife's Forrest Hazen at the Sequim 10.

Alex Rohrer scored from the 3 on the third play, cutting the lead to 27-7.

The Sequim regulars finished their work for the night on Decker's 9-yard dash with 8:18 left, up 33-7.

Bennion scored the last Fife TD on a 1-yard run with 1:02 remaining.

Sequim's Rickerson completed 15 of 30 passes for 156 yards.

Fife's Bennion connected on just 1 of 17 passing for 5 yards with 3 interceptions.

The Wolves defense held Fife to zero net yards and no first downs in the opening half, as Sequim had a 383 to 75 advantage in total yards.
