Sequim hoopsters drop pair to Olympic
December 18th, 2015 - 11:38pm(Silverdale) -- The Olympic Trojans pulled away in the final quarter to defeat the Sequim Wolves 36-29 Friday night at Olympic Gymnasium.
In a low scoring, defensive-minded boys basketball contest, Sequim led 10-6 after one period and the Trojans were ahead 15-14 at halftime.
The Wolves had a 22-19 advantage after three frames, but the Trojans had a 17-7 run in the final period to take the win.
Sequim (0-3 in Olympic League 2A play and 3-4 overall, visit Anacortes Saturday and Lynden on Monday.
In the girls game at Rick Kaps Gym, Olympic took a 42-34 decision over the Lady Wolves.
