Sequim girls stay alive, beat Evergreen 40-23

(Tacoma) -- The Sequim Lady Wolves stayed alive in the consolation bracket of the 2A West Central District basketball tournament, beating the Evergreen Wolverines 40-23 Friday night at Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma.
Sequim (10-12 overall) will play River Ridge, a 43-39 loser to Sammamish, on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Wilson High in Tacoma.
