2013-14 Boys Basketball Game 9 - Sequim 75, Aussie Travelers 53

Sequim boys beat Aussie Travelers 75-53

The Sequim Wolves boys basketball team came from behind Saturday afternoon and defeated a team of Australian Travelers 75-53 in Seattle.
Sequim had a lethargic first half and trailed 32-28 at halftime.
Energized after intermission, Alex Barry fueled a 17-0 run to start the second half, the Wolves bombing in 8 triples in 8 minutes.
The Wolves led 55-44 going to the final period outscoring the Aussies 27-12 in the third frame.
Barry had 23 with 5 treys and 11 rebounds.
Rory Kallappa had 21 tallies for Sequim, including 5 for 5 from beyond the arc.
Anthony Pinza tanked 11 markers for the Wolves with 12 assists and a perfect 9-for-9 from the charity stripe.
Erik Christensen paced the Wolves with 9 points.
It was the first of four matchups in final day of the Tournament of Champions Holiday Classic at Franklin High School.
The Wolves (6-3 overall) finished the tourney with a 1-2 record.
The Sequim boys will be idle for the rest of their holiday break and resume Olympic League on January 7th at home against the North Kitsap Vikings.
