Union 67, Sequim 40
The 4A Union Titans of Vancouver used a combination of size and quickness to defeat the 2A Sequim High Wolves boys basketball team 67-40 Friday.
It was the second day of action for Sequim at the Tournament of Champions Holiday Classic at Franklin High School in Seattle.
Union, coached by former Kingston High coach Blake Conley, features 6-9 junior center Isaiah Robinson.
Robinson had a number of dunks inside against the Sequim defense and led the Titans with 14 points.
Alex Barry led the Wolves once again with 16 points and a number of NBA distance 3-pointers.
Rory Kallappa had 9 for Sequim and Erik Christensen added 7 tallies.
The Franklin tournament wraps up tomorrow (Saturday) with Union meeting Foss at noon and Sequim will play an Australian traveling team at 2:45.
