Sequim wallops Bremerton 88-52

(Sequim) -- Sequim roared out to the first 11 points of the game Saturday night against Bremerton and never let up, thrashing the Knights 88-52 at Rick Kaps Gym.
Jayson Brocklesby led the way for the Wolves with 24 points, including 19 in the first half.
The Wolves led 24-6 after the first quarter and 48-25 at halftime.
Gabe Carter had 13 points for Sequim and Corbin Webb had 12.
Sequim (14-5 overall, 11-4 in Olympic League play) had reserves playing the entire fourth quarter as sophomore Rory Kallappa tallied 11, Anthony Pinza had 7 and Alex Barry had 6 points.
Bremerton (10-9 overall, 9-6 in Olympic League play) got 15 from Deonti Dixon and Mikey Lawrence chipped in 10.
The Wolves 88 points is the 12th highest point output in school history, a mark last surpassed by Sequim's 2000-01 team on six occasions, including a record 101 tallies against Port Townsend.
Sequim will host Port Angeles Tuesday at Rick Kaps Gym, with the winner claiming second place in the final league standings and a bye in first round of West Central District play after subdistrict seeding games on Feb 10th and 11th.
