(Port Angeles) -- All-time Port Angeles leading scorer Jessica Madison tallied 23 points as the Roughriders cruised to a 84-28 win over the Sequim Wolves.
The Riders pulled out to a 15-4 first period lead and held off a Sequim rally in leading 32-21 at intermission.
Port Angeles (17-3 overall and 16-0 in the Olympic League) turned up the pressure and outscored Sequim 52-7 in the second half, holding the Wolves without a point in the final period.
Kiah Jones hit for 17, Alison Knowles added 15 and Taylyn Jeffers connected for 12.
Haleigh Harrison had 10 for Sequim and Rylleigh Zbaraschuk added 9.
Both teams move to the subdistrict tournament, Port Angeles meeting Sumner or White River Thursday at Foster High School at 7:30.
Sequim (10-11 overall and 7-9 in the Olympic League) will play Renton at Sumner High School Friday at 6 in a loser out contest.
