16 17 Girls Basketball Game 20 - Sequim 31, Coupeville 19

(Sequim) -- Postseason play remains a possibility for the Sequim Lady Wolves. 

After Thursday's action, Sequim, Kingston and Bremerton all finished the regular season with 5-7 Olympic League 2A records.

A tiebreaker for the fourth and final Olympic League seed into the West Central District 2A tournament will be played at 2 p.m. Saturday at Port Townsend High School.

Meantime in a non-leaguer Thursday at Rick Kaps Gym, Sequim beat Coupeville 31-19 to finish the regular season 8-12 overall.

Sequim trailed 9-6 after the first period and Coupeville took a 12-8 advantage into halftime.

Senior Adrienne Haggerty made the difference in the third quarter, scoring 12 of her game-high 18 points, as Sequim went to the final period ahead 25-16.

The Sequim defense held Coupeville to just 10 points in the final three quarters.

Lindsey Roberts led Coupeville with 9 points.

Coupeville leads the Olympic 1A Division with an 8-0 record, hosting Port Townsend Saturday.
