(Tacoma) -- The Sequim girls basketball team suffered from turnovers and woeful 3-point shooting in dropping a 47-35 decision to the Lindbergh Eagles Friday night at the West Central District 2A Tournament.
The Lady Wolves will try to stay alive in the tourney next Wednesday against either Fife or North Kitsap at Wilson High School in Tacoma at 7:45 p.m.
Adrienne Haggerty had 17 for Sequim, Ella Christiansen added 9, Madison Green had 5 and Hope Glasser added 4.
The Wolves trailed by 9 at halftime and were buried with a 15-4 Lindbergh run, trailing by 20 going to the last period at 39-19.
Sequim connected on just 3 of 23 shots from beyond the 3 point arc.
Both the PA and Sequim games were originally scheduled for Thursday and postponed after the team buses were forced to wait at the Hood Canal Bridge with a long weather-related closure.
