Sequim boys rip Olympic 62-49

(Silverdale) -- Sequim junior Tim Guan connected on five 3-pointers, scoring a team-high 16 points as the Wolves beat the Olympic Trojans 62-49 Friday night.
Sequim (9-3 overall, 6-2 in Olympic League play) trailed 18-16 at the first quarter break, but outscored Olympic 18-7 in the second stanza, taking a 34-25 advantage to the halftime locker room.
The Wolves repeatedly made the extra pass to find the open man and opened up a 16-point bulge going into the final period -- 51-35.
Corbin Webb had 14 for Sequim, while Gabe Carter had 11 and Jayson Brocklesby scored 10 points.
Olympic (5-6 overall, 3-5 in Olympic League play) got a game-high 20 points from Trent Gallagher and Quentin Phillips added 7 markers for the Trojans.
Next week, Sequim will visit Port Townsend Tuesday and Port Angeles Friday.
