Sequim downs Sehome 55-52
(Lynden) -- Jayson Brocklesby scored 16 points and Gabe Carter added 13 as the Sequim Wolves beat the Sehome Mariners 59-56 Thursday at the Cloud 9 Sports Lynden Christmas Classic.
After a 14-14 tie ended the first period, Sequim took a 26-22 advantage into intermission.
Sequim had a 10 point lead after the third period 44-34 and had double digit advantages on two other occasions in the final quarter before turnovers closed the margin of victory in the closing minute.
Corbin Webb added 12 points for Sequim.
Evan Miksovsky and Konstantin Andrushenko shared team-high honors for Sehome with 10 points apiece.
Sequim (8-2) travels to the Kitsap Peninsula Tuesday to battle the Kingston Buccaneers.
