(Purdy) -- Corbin Webb scored a career-high 32 points as the Sequim Wolves held on for a 57-52 non-league victory over the Peninsula Seahawks Wednesday night.

The game was tied at 13 after the first quarter and Sequim took a one-point halftime advantage on a put-back by Jayson Brocklesby at 26-25.

Brocklesby finished with 8 points.

Peninsula (2-2) took a 4 point lead on a triple by Cody Olson early in the third period -- 32-28.

The Wolves regained the advantage for good after a pair of hoops by Tim Guan, leading 33-32 with 4:15 remaining in the third period.

Sequim (4-0, 2-0 in Olympic League play) went into the final quarter ahead 40-35, paced by the shooting and driving of Webb, who finished the contest a perfect 12-of-12 from the free throw line.

The Wolves pushed ahead to a 10-point bulge -- 49-39 with five minutes left on another Webb field goal.

Peninsula hit for 3 treys in the final quarter -- one by Cody Olsen and a pair by Justin Erickson, the last cutting Sequim's advantage to 52-48.

Erickson was the team-high scorer for the Seahawks with 13, Patrick Hennessey had 12 and Olson scored 11 markers.

The 'Hawks Shane Hanon's deuce with 1:56 remaining chopped it to 52-50, but Evan Hill answered with a Sequim drive that made it 54-50 at the 1:25 mark.

The Wolves closed it out from the charity stripe for the five-point victory.

Sequim visits the North Mason Bulldogs in Belfair Friday night.
