Sequim concedes league tiebreaker game to Olympic

Illness and injuries have forced Sequim to concede an Olympic League boys basketball tiebreaker to the Olympic Trojans and will take the number 2 seed to the district tournament.

The Wolves will face a loser out first-round game Wednesday at 6 in the Lakes High School Gym in Tacoma.

Monday's game was originally scheduled for seeding purposes only and the schools are the Olympic League co-champions.

The number one seeded Trojans will play Friday night at 7:45 at Foss High in Tacoma against the winner of Wednesday's North Kitsap - White River game.

Newsradio KONP broadcast time Wednesday for the Sequim - Steilacoom game will be 5:40 with the tip at 6 p.m.
