(Port Townsend) -- The Port Townsend girls outscored Sequim 18-7 in the fourth quarter Tuesday night at Bruce Blevins Gym, taking a 58-47 decision from the Wolves.
The Redskins' effort mirrored an 18-6 run by Sequim in the third quarter that left the squads tied at 40 going to the final period.
Sequim's Lea Hopson drove to the hoop repeatedly in the third stanza to draw PT fouls and hit 7 of 12 free throws in the period. Hopson finished with a game-high 22 points.
However, the Redskins got the calls in the fourth quarter and hit 7 of 15 charity tosses down the stretch to take their second win of the campaign, both at the expense of the Wolves.
Kerri Evalt hit 8 of her team leading 16 points in the first quarter for Port Townsend.
Kiley Maag scored 15, Brooke Little had 11 and Bella Fox 10 for the Redskins.
Sequim (0-11 in Olympic League play, 0-15 overall) was paced by freshmen Rylleigh Zbaraschuk with 14 and Haleigh Harrison with 7 points.
Port Townsend (2-9 in Olympic League play, 2-13 overall) will visit North Kitsap Friday, while the Lady Wolves host the Kingston Buccaneers.
