(Sequim) -- John Textor scored 19 points, including two free throws with 5.6 seconds remaining as the Sequim Wolves edged the Bremerton Knights 71-70 Tuesday night at Rick Kaps Gym.

A final 3-point attempt by Bremerton's Andrew Shadle missed at the buzzer, leaving the Knights with their first loss in Olympic League play this season.

Sequim started quickly with a 14-3 lead, before Bremerton responded with a 7-0 run to close to 14-10 at the first quarter break.

The Wolves started the second period on fire, leading by 15 at 30-15 with 3:28 left in the half on 2 free throws by Corbin Webb.

Bremerton's pressure defense created turnovers and an 11-0 run over 2:23 that closed the deficit to six points at 32-26 before Frank Catelli answered for Sequim on a basket with 1:20 to go before halftime.

Sequim (5-2, 5-5) led 32-28 at halftime.

Bremerton (6-1, 6-3) outscored Sequim 20-16 in the third quarter as the game was tied at 48 going to the fourth quarter.

The game was tied 12 times with 6 lead changes in the second half.

Terrick McGhee gave Bremerton a 3 point lead at 69-66 with a layup off a steal with a minute to go.

Sequim's Michael Dunning nailed a 3-ball from the right wing with 32 seconds to go for a 69-all tie.

McGhee hit one of two free throws with 20 seconds to go, giving the visitors a 70-69 advantage.

Sequim's Textor was fouled with less than 6 seconds to go and the senior hit both charity tosses for the winning points.

Bremerton's Jarell Flora was the game-high scorer, with 28 points, 20 in the second half.

Corbin Webb hit for 17 for Sequim, Josh McMinn scored 8, while Clancy Catelli and Jeremie Oliver had 8 points apiece.

McGhee paced Bremerton with 16, Shadle had 12 and Andre Coleman had 10 points.

Sequim travels to Olympic Friday, while the Knights entertain Kingston.
