(Port Angeles) -- The Port Angeles girls cruised to an easy 84-20 victory over the Sequim Wolves Tuesday night in Olympic League basketball at the Rider Gym.

The Roughriders had a 21-5 advantage at the first quarter.

Jessica Madison connected for 13 of her 25 in the first half, while Alison Knowles hit 2 triples in the second period on the way to a 10-point performance.

Taylyn Jeffers had an excellent game working inside, scoring 11 of her 13 points before intermission.

PA had a 47-20 lead at halftime.

It was the Jess Madison show in the third quarter as the Rider junior hit two 3-pointers and another three deuces, finishing the period with 12 points -- and increasing the Port Angeles lead to 63-17 going to the fourth quarter.

The Riders used all reserves in the final period, as Mariah Frazier hit for 6, Ceci Stevenson had 5, while Paxton Rodecker and Kearsten Cox scored 4 points apiece.

Sequim junior Lea Hopson scored 12 points for the Wolves, while Caitlin Wiker had 4.

The Wolves (0-13, 0-17) are idle Friday, in action next Tuesday hosting North Kitsap.

The Roughriders (12-0, 14-2) host the North Kitsap Vikings Friday at the Rider Gym.
