(Tacoma) -- Eatonville exploded for 25 fourth-quarter points Tuesday night, ending the season for the Sequim Wolves boys basketball team 66-57 in a sub-district "play in" game at Franklin Pierce High School.
Taylor Callahan-McBride had 20 points and Erik Swartout added 18 for the Cruisers of the Nisqually League, who move into the 2A West Central District playoffs Friday night with a visit to the North Mason Bulldogs in Belfair.
Eatonville led 14-9 after the first quarter and 31-28 at halftime.
Sequim's Clancy Catelli hit a triple to open the second half, knotting the affair at 31.
The Wolves outscored the Cruisers 17-10 in the period and led 45-41 going to the fourth quarter.
Sequim led by five -- 49-44 -- with 5:30 remaining, but the Cruisers managed six straight points, taking the lead at 50-49 on Robert Horiskey's hoop with 3:48 left.
John Textor, who finished with a season-high 23 points, hit a basket on the next Sequim possession to take the lead back at 51-50.
Eatonville's Dalton Hancock nailed trey that gave the Cruisers the advantage for good with 3:10 to go -- 53-51.
Hancock fouled out with 1:26 remaining with 12 points, including another three-ball with 1:30 left that put Eatonville up 58-53.
Textor had two freebies with 1:24 to go that cut it to 58-55, but Eatonville put the game away by hitting 8 for 9 at the charity stripe.
Corbin Webb paced the Wolves with 17 points and Frank Catelli added 7.
Tuesday's contest was the final appearance in a Sequim basketball uniform for seniors Jordan Alcafaras, Clancy Catelli, Michael Dunning, Jeremie Oliver and John Textor.
Sequim finished the campaign with a 10-12 record.
