(Sequim) -- Sequim junior quarterback Jack Wiker completed 8-of-20 passes for 144 yards and 3 touchdowns, while rushing for 152 yards and 3 more scores as the Wolves ripped the North Mason Bulldogs 48-20 Friday night.
Sequim improved its record to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in Olympic League action.
North Mason turned the ball over to Sequim on 4 consecutive first quarter possessions, allowing the Wolves to forge a 35-0 lead.
Wolves senior receiver Nick Ramirez caught 5 passes for 82 yards and the first 2 touchdowns of the contest, along with 2 interceptions on defense.
Sequim's Tyler Forshaw caught a 36-yard TD pass and Wiker rushed for a pair of first half scores.
North Mason made things interesting with a 50-yard Tommy Renne quarterback TD run and a 1-yard TD plunge by fullback Tommy Marsh to cut the Sequim lead to 35-12 with 2:58 before halftime.
Renne rushed 16 times for 122 yards and a score, while Marsh packed the ball 14 times for 144 yards and a TD.
The Bulldogs were turned away from the end zone on a 4th-and-goal from the Sequim 1-yard-line as time expired for the first half before North Mason could run a scrimmage play.
Sequim (5-0, 3-0 in Olympic League play) pulled away in the third quarter with 13 more points; a 57-yard interception return for a touchdown by Tyler Forshaw and a 19-yard TD rush by Wiker.
The Wolves' Clay Charley recovered two North Mason fumbles during the contest.
The Bulldogs scored the final touchdown with 2:25 left on a 32-yard rush by slotback Anthony Price.
North Mason (0-5 overall, 0-3 in Olympic League play) will host Port Angeles Friday.
Sequim awaits the Kingston Buccaneers (3-2 overall, 2-1 in Olympic League play) for the Homecoming game next Friday night.
